Local & Global Awards
All Participants who successfully complete submission of their Team Project to the NASA Space Apps Global Challenge, are eligible to win both Local Awards & Global Awards.
NASA Space Apps Cambridge Local Awards are given exclusively to winning Participants only of NASA Space Apps Cambridge, and are adjudicated by a Local Jury comprised of technical leaders, innovators, arts/design leaders, educators, sustainability leaders, and leaders affiliated with NASA.
Local Winners are announced by NASA Space Apps Cambridge on October 23, 2024.
Award Ceremonies will be in November.
Global Awards are given to winning Participants coming from the 300+ cities around the world where NASA Space Apps Challenge are held.
Global Winners are announced by NASA on January 2025.

The NASA Space Apps Cambridge Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, creativity, analysis, education, collaboration, presentation, leadership, and impact, in approaching, addressing, collaborating on, and presenting solutions to NASA’s 2024 Global Challenges.

These are all Team Awards - and each winning Team Member will receive an Individual Trophy, and Individual Printed Award Certificate (signed, frameable), as well as an additional Award Winners Gift Bag.
Depending on the number of Participating Teams, each Award category may also have a First/Second Runner Up, also with Individual Trophies, Printed Award Certificates, and Gift Bags.
The NASA Space Apps Cambridge Jury will only be reviewing/adjudicating entries from Participants who successfully complete submitting your Team Projects to the NASA Space Apps Global Challenge by the deadline.
