The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is the world’s largest annual hackathon and create-thon, inspiring innovation via collaborations, and bringing together coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, technologists, and innovators to use creativity, science, tech, and open data from NASA and Space Agency Partners to create solutions to challenges on Earth and in space.

Everyone of all ages, skill levels, and professional backgrounds are invited to participate in the NASA Space Apps Challenge! Whether you’re a student, professional, technologist, engineer, artist, or media creator, the NASA Space Apps Challenge offers opportunities for everyone with an interest in space and the Earth.

The 2024 NASA Space Apps Challenge global theme is "The Sun Touches Everything" in collaboration with NASA Heliophysics. This theme is in alignment with the Heliophysics Big Year, a global celebration of the Sun’s influence on Earth and the entire solar system, as declared by NASA.

    A key Community Partner of NASA Space Apps Cambridge & New England - the Space & Earth Alliance (SEA) is cultivating a dynamic community and network of people, institutions, and companies that care about building a brighter future for humanity on both our Planet Earth and into the future as we explore space.

    SEA is a key pillar initiative of the Humansphere Foundation, dedicated to inspiring and empowering a diverse and gender-equal new generation of leaders, innovators, inventors, artists, designers, creators, scientists, environmenmalists, and health and medical professionals who have a shared passion for saving our Planet Earth and building a bright interplanetary, interstellar future for humanity.

    SEA is currently inviting Ambassadors and Fellows among students, faculty, and professonals.

    SEA is also inviting the partnership of academic institutions, companies, media, networks, governments, and non-govenment organizations that share our mission and vision, to become active members and contributors to the Space & Earth Alliance (SEA).
