SEPTEMBER to OCTOBER 2 | Choose Challenge. Form/Find a Team. Join NASA Space Apps Cambridge.

• Register by October 2 with NASA Space Apps Cambridge, and after confirmation, by October 4 with NASA Space Apps Global Challenge. You have until the Registration Deadline to choose a Challenge, form or find a Team, and join NASA Space Apps International Challenge | Cambridge, New England.

• Choose a Challenge. Form and/or Find a Team. Review the NASA Space Apps Challenge Summaries in mid-August, and the Challenge Statements in September. Choose a Challenge you’d like to work on. Form and/or Find a Team that wants to work on that Challenge. Feel free to invite your friends to join your Team!

• Register your Team. Make sure your Team is registered before the Deadline, so you can receive messages from NASA International Space Apps Headquarters to help prepare you/your Team for the Challenge.

• Space Apps Connect Forum. As you prepare for the Challenge, join the Space Apps Connect Forum, a collaborative communication forum for the NASA Space Apps Challenge community.

OCTOBER | Participate in NASA International Space Apps Challenge | Cambridge, New England - live/in person or virtually.

• October 4. Registration deadline for NASA Space Apps Cambridge. Register before this deadline to receive advance information/tips/resources for you and your team.

• October 4. Registration deadline with NASA Space Apps Global Challenge. Tune in to Welcome to Space Apps kickoff video at 5pm EST. Join us for a warm, friendly pizza party & kickoff of both World Space Week & the NASA Space Apps International Challenge | Cambridge, New England.

• October 5-6. Collaborate with your teams to finish your Challenge Project and present your project for competition at the NASA Space Apps International Challenge | Cambridge, New England.

OCTOBER - DECEMBER | Judging & Awarding Period.

• October - NASA Space Apps Cambridge Jury Adjudication: The NASA Space Apps Cambridge Jury will evaluate all entries submitted by all teams in the NASA Space Apps Cambridge hackathon for the Local Awards. Winners of the NASA Space Apps Cambridge Awards will be announced October 23.

• November [Sunday TBD] - NASA Space Apps Cambridge Awards Ceremonies & Community Celebration Reception

• Global Awards: Experts from NASA, Space Agency Partners, and industry will evaluate the projects and select the winners. Your Team will be notified if you’ve been selected as a Finalist or Winner.

• In addition to the Global Finalists/Global Awards, there will be also special Local Finalists/Awards & Ceremony recognizing participating Teams in the NASA Space Apps International Challenge | Cambridge, New England.

JANUARY 2025 | Global Winners Announcement. Presentation at Global Summit.

• The Global Winners are announced by the NASA International Space Apps Challenge Global Team.

• All Participants will get to display Team Projects and Local Winners will get to present their work, at our Emerging Leaders Global Summit.
