Fellowships

The Humansphere Foundation is inviting individuals who share our mission and vision, and who want to help build our global community, to join as Fellows and join a special Fellowship for our NASA Space Apps | Cambridge, New England program.

We have several Fellowship opportunities at the Humansphere Foundation starting Winter 2024:

• Research Fellowship

• Media Fellowship [writing focus]

• Media Fellowship [film/video focus]

• Ambassador Fellowship

A Fellowship with the Humansphere Foundation is like a cross between an internship, a volunteer-ship, and a leadership development experience, with the added bonus of belonging to our special Foundation Fellowship Community.

What Fellows offer:

• Fellows work on special projects we designate, that combine your interest with your skill set and/or area of expertise.

• The project for this Fellowship is the NASA Space Apps Cambridge community.

• Fellows join us on a year-long commitment (similar to volunteer opportunities).

• Expected time commitment is an average of 2 hours/week [outside of Fellowship community events].

What we offer Fellows:

• A year-long extracurricular and academically/professionally complementary program that strengthens your professional experience, amplifies your expertise, grows your network, and expands your personal portfolio of accomplishments.

• A leadership and personal development experience, with exposure to and learning from experts and senior leaders across all fields and disciplines.

• A Fellowship Community, and hopefully a friendship group, of talented diverse individuals, united by a shared ethos and vision for the future.

• Financial Honorarium by yearend 2024 and by end of your term in 2025, based on actual time spent on the Fellowship and work product accomplished during the Fellowship.

A few more details on the Fellowship:

• The Fellowships are open to undergraduate/graduate students, pre-docs/post-docs, artists/designers, professionals, entrepreneurs.

• Fellowships are evaluated on a rolling basis.

• Fellowship applications comprise of a full package that includes: 1) CV/resume 2) Cover letter 3) An academic/professional reference and 4) participation in an interview [live or video].

• Fellowship application ends October 31, 2024.
